DAC Labs brings together a new generation of exceptional scientists and engineers united by a singular mission: removing legacy CO₂ from our atmosphere at scale.

Founded by Dr Sam Wenger following the completion of his chemistry PhD thesis in "Bridging the Commercialization Gap for the Direct Air Capture of Atmospheric CO₂", our team combines deep technical expertise with fresh thinking on one of humanity's most urgent challenges. Our team hold advanced degrees in chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry and mechatronics engineering. Notably, Sam and Lyndon Hall, Dac Labs' Head of Chemistry, were members of the winning student team in the 2021 XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition.

Beyond the credentials is something more fundamental - our team brings a new perspective to solving Direct Air Capture at scale. We represent the next generation of DAC innovation, building on hard-won lessons about what prevents scaling to megatonnes and designing explicitly to overcome those barriers.

The CO₂ in our atmosphere today will remain there for centuries unless we actively remove it. The Dac Labs team represents the new generation of ambitious climate action the world needs. We're not waiting for the next generation to solve this problem. We're committed to solving it now.
